Gulabchand Vardhman Mehta

Our shop is right in the heart of Kansara Bazar, not far from the Raiy Naka Tower. If you walk through the market, you can’t miss the tower. It’s an old area with narrow streets where people have been doing business for generations. Gulabchand Vardhman Mehta is just a simple place where we keep things traditional. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come by. The shelves are filled with stuff we’ve been selling for years. It’s a bit dark inside the shop because the buildings are so close together, but it stays cool even when the sun is out. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and the regulars who stop in just to say hello. It’s not the kind of place where you rush in and out. Everything moves a bit slower here. We handle the accounts in big ledgers and keep a sharp eye on the stock. There isn’t any marketing or big signs. People just know where we are because we’ve been here so long. Sometimes the bells from the nearby temple ring while we are working. It’s a peaceful way to run a business without any of that corporate polish. We just like our spot in the bazar and the folks we see every single day. It’s a life that suits us just fine.
