Gud Luck Hair Saloon

You can find Gud Luck Hair Saloon at Shop No. 3 on Satya Sai Road. We are near the Alap Heritage building, just off Kalavad Road in Rajkot. I’ve had this shop for several years now. It’s a small place, just enough for three chairs and a bench for people to sit on while they wait. The walls have some posters of different haircuts, though most people just ask for the same thing every time. We do a lot of shaves and head massages with that vibrating tool that everyone likes. The floor is tiled, and I try to keep it clean, but with the wind in Rajkot, dust always finds a way in. We use the local water, so sometimes we have to use a lot of shampoo to get a good lather. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the street. We have a blue door that sticks a bit in the rainy season. Most of the people who come here are from the nearby apartments. We know which neighbors are arguing and who just got a new car. It's that kind of place. I don't use any computer for bookings. I just write things down in a diary if someone calls ahead, but usually, people just walk in. It's a simple life running a shop like this. We just keep the scissors moving and the customers happy enough to come back.
