Govind Art Studio

You can find Govind Art Studio over at Shreeji Complex, specifically in Shop 3 and 4. We are on Street Number 37 in Karanpara. It is a busy little area, especially since we are right behind the S.T. Bus Stand in Rajkot. There is always someone walking by or a bus engine revving in the distance. We do art work here, which means our hands are usually stained with ink or paint by lunch time. The shop is full of frames, canvases, and various tools we have collected over the years. We don't have a big showroom; it is more of a workshop where things actually get made. Sometimes the floor is covered in wood shavings from the frames, and there are always stacks of finished work waiting to be picked up. We have two shops joined together, so there is a bit more room to move, but it still gets cluttered because we hate throwing away good scraps of material. We are not really into big marketing or flashy signs. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to Karanpara for years and know that we are here in the complex. It is a bit of a maze in these streets, but once you find us, you will see we are just busy working on whatever project is on the table that day. It is a messy, creative life, but we like it that way and keep things simple.
