Divine Hair Art

If you are walking down University Road near Raiya, you will find Divine Hair Art. We are in Gayatri Complex, Shop G/4. It is right across from the SBI Bank, which is a good landmark for people who are coming here for the first time. The shop is on the ground floor, so it is easy to just step inside from the street. I have been cutting hair here in Rajkot for a long time now. The shop has a few big mirrors and those old-style barber chairs that are actually quite comfortable once you sit down. We keep the floor swept, but with hair, it is a constant job. The 360005 area gets a lot of students because of the university nearby, so we see many young faces looking for a quick trim between their classes. I usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background. It is not a silent place, there is always the sound of scissors and people chatting about the weather or the local news. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle a pair of shears. The sink for washing hair is in the back corner. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need. People like that they can just walk in without much fuss. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed for everyone who stops by. It is just a regular barbershop.
