Ghanshyam Hospital

Ghanshyam Hospital is over in Gondal, specifically near the Jail Chowk area. It’s a landmark that most people around here know pretty well. The hospital is a busy place, especially in the mornings when folks from the nearby villages start arriving for their appointments. We have a good number of beds, but they seem to fill up fast during certain times of the year. The location near Jail Chowk means there is always movement outside, and you can hear the rickshaws and bikes all day long. Inside the hospital, we try to keep things as quiet as we can, though with all the families coming in, it’s rarely silent. We have a small pharmacy attached so people don't have to wander off too far to get their medicine. The nurses are usually rushing around between the different wards to help out. We’ve been working out of this building for years, and it has its quirks, like the light in the hallway that flickers sometimes. We don't spend money on fancy decorations; we’d rather just have the basic stuff we need to do the job. The benches in the lobby are a bit hard for sitting, but they stay occupied most of the time. We see everything from minor injuries to people who need to stay for a few days. It’s a plain, functional hospital that does what it’s supposed to do for the people. We just get on with the day’s tasks, one patient at a time and see how it goes.
