If you drive down NH-8B, you’ll find us right across from Field Marshal School. It’s a busy highway, so there’s always a lot of dust and the sound of trucks zooming past. We make chains here at Galaxy Chains. It’s a noisy job with the machines running all day, but it’s what we do. The workshop floor is usually covered in bits of metal and oil, and the guys are always wearing their work clothes. We’ve been in this spot for a long time now. The school across the road gets busy in the mornings and afternoons, so we have to watch out for the traffic when we’re moving heavy stuff out. It’s a pretty standard manufacturing setup. We don't have any big corporate offices or fancy lobbies. Just a desk in the corner where the paperwork happens and a lot of space for the heavy machinery. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half the day fixing them, which is frustrating but just part of the life. We make all kinds of chains for different industrial uses. It’s heavy work, and your hands get dirty within the first five minutes of the shift. We just try to keep the production moving so we can meet our deadlines without any major issues. It’s a tough environment but we’ve got a good rhythm going after all these years of working the same machines. We just keep at it day after day.
