Fashionista Beauty Salon & Academy

We spend most of our days here at Sanidhya Complex. It’s on the second floor, right above the HDFC Bank on Nirmala Convent Road. If you know Rajkot, you know this area gets pretty busy during the day. Half the time we are doing regular salon stuff like hair or skin work, and the other half is for the academy part where students come in to learn the trade. It can get a bit crowded when classes are going on at the same time as appointments, but we manage. We’ve been set up here for a while now. Some days are loud with everyone talking and practicing, other days it’s just the sound of blow dryers. We focus on getting the work done. People find us easily because the bank is a good landmark. The academy keeps us busy because teaching someone how to hold shears is different from just doing a quick haircut. We use every bit of the space we have. It’s a practical setup, nothing too fancy, just the usual chairs, mirrors, and some training tables in the back. Most of the people coming in are just locals from around Nirmala Road or students looking for work. We don't bother with big ads or anything. Usually, someone tells a friend and they show up. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but people get used to it. We stay open as long as there is work to do. Sometimes the fans are running all day because it gets quite warm in the afternoons, and the noise from the road never really stops. We just drink our tea and keep going until the evening.
