Our shop is inside the Plus Point Complex on Dr Yagnik Road. It is a well-known area in Rajkot, right across from Haribhai Hall. We do hair here, and we also have a small spot for tattoos. It is a bit of a mix, but it works for us. The studio has a certain feel to it, maybe because of the ink and the hair products all in one place. We have separate corners for both things so they don't get in each other's way. The chairs are comfortable enough for someone who has to sit for a long time getting a tattoo done. For hair, we have the usual mirrors and sinks. It can get a bit crowded on weekends because of our location. Yagnik Road is always full of people shopping and walking around. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long for their turn. The walls have some sketches and photos of work we have done over the months. It is not a gallery, just things we like to look at. We use standard tools and always make sure to keep them clean. That is the most important part of this kind of job. Some people come in for a quick trim and end up looking at the tattoo designs. Others come specifically for the ink. It is a busy life here. We start our day by setting up the machines and checking our supplies. By evening, we are usually tired but it feels okay. It is a decent place to work and meet different kinds of people every day.
