Fair Lady Beauty Parlour

The shop is tucked away on the main road of Jayant Society in the Mavdi Plot area. Being near Brahmin Wadi means we see a lot of people passing by every day. It’s a busy part of Rajkot, and things can get pretty dusty with all the traffic out there. Inside, we have our basic setup. It isn't a huge place, just enough room for a few people to wait and for us to do our work. I usually start the day by sweeping the front and making sure the water is ready. We do a lot of facial work and hair cutting for the women who live around here. Sometimes the regulars just drop in to chat while they wait for their turn. We don't have any of those expensive machines or bright neon lights. It is mostly just the sound of scissors and the overhead fan. The walls have some old pictures of hairstyles that have been there for years. We handle the usual stuff like waxing and threading, and on weekends it can get a bit hectic when everyone wants to look nice for a wedding or a party. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we are used to it by now. We just try to get the job done right so people come back next time they need a trim or their eyebrows done. It’s a simple life here in Anand, keeping the shop open and doing the daily tasks.
