Ethenic World

Our shop is in the Ashutosh Building, right on the Jagnath Plot area. We are at number 6, which is close to the Kathiya Wad Gym Khana Main Road. It’s a very busy part of town. There is always a lot of dust from the road and the sound of horns. Ethenic World has been our life for a good few years now. We have a lot of items packed into the shelves. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to move, but we know where everything is. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. We open up pretty early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this street for years. We know their names and what they usually look for. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. We just talk to people when they walk in. The floor is made of old stone and it stays cool. We spend a lot of time folding things or moving boxes around. When it rains, the water splashes up from the main road, so we have to be quick with the shutters. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this going, but we don't mind. It’s what we know. We are just a local business trying to do honest work every day. That's about all there is to it, just us and the shop and the daily routine.
