Dreamz Hair Salon is tucked away in Shop Number 6 at the Ganesh Complex. It’s right there in the Gandhigram area, very close to Ramapir Chowkdi. If you know where Sadbhavna Hospital is, we are just a short walk from there. Being situated on the 150 Feet Ring Road means there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside the door. Inside, we just focus on the hair and ignore the street. We started this place because we wanted a local spot for people to get a decent haircut without any fuss. It is a small shop. We put in some mirrors and chairs and just started working. Sometimes the music is a bit loud or we are talking too much with the customers, but that is just how it goes here. Rajkot people really like to talk. We do all the basic stuff like cuts and shaves. Maybe we do a bit of styling if someone has a wedding to go to. It gets really packed on Sundays. We don’t have any fancy booking system or an app. You just show up and wait your turn on the bench. The 360005 area is a busy part of town. We see a lot of students and office workers throughout the day. We try our best to keep the place clean, though the floor always has some hair on it. It’s an honest little business for the neighborhood.
