Dhakan Hospital

Our hospital is located on Kuvadva Road. It’s a pretty intense part of the city with all the traffic coming in from the Ahmedabad Road side. We are right near the Delux Cinema, so there is always something going on outside our doors. The building is older and has that solid feel to it that you don't see much anymore. Inside, the air usually smells like soap and medicine. We have a small reception desk where one of us is usually sitting, trying to keep track of the patient files. The chairs in the waiting room are plastic and a bit noisy when people move around. We get a lot of walk-ins throughout the day. The nurses are always on their feet, moving between the wards to check on everyone. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. There isn't anything fancy about the place. We have the basic rooms and the equipment needed to take care of the people who come in. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play near the entrance, and we have to tell them to move along so they don't get hurt. The street noise is just a part of the day here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work we have to do. People know us because we’ve been on Kuvadva Road for years.
