Decora Coatings is located right along National Highway 8-b in Shapar, near Veraval. Our address is Plot No 14, and being so close to the highway means it’s always a bit noisy with the traffic heading into Rajkot. We’ve been in this spot for a while, making different kinds of coatings and industrial paints. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with color samples and half-used cans, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't a big, fancy company with a lot of board meetings. It's mostly just a few of us mixing batches and making sure the quality is decent. The dust from the road is a constant battle, but we try to keep the mixing area as clean as possible. We don't have a flashy website or a big sales team. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for years. The sun can get really hot in this part of Gujarat, so we try to get the heavy work done before the afternoon heat kicks in. Sometimes a truck driver will stop by just to ask for directions, and we don't mind helping out. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. We don't use any marketing jargon; we just make the paint and sell it. It’s a simple life and we’re quite alright with that.
