D & Niki Beauty Salon

You will find us near the Vaidik Kanya Chhatralay on the University Campus. It is a quiet spot compared to the main city areas. We are right opposite the Gujarat Housing Board buildings. Most of the people who come here live in the housing board or are students from the campus nearby. The salon is a straightforward place for women. We handle things like threading, waxing, and regular hair cuts. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment, just the things that get the job done right for our customers. The room is painted a light color to make it feel a bit bigger than it is. There are a couple of chairs and a small waiting area with a few plastic stools. We spend most of our day here. It is a steady pace for us. Sometimes it is very quiet when the students are busy in their classes. Then things pick up in the evening when everyone is out. We know many of our customers by their names since they live so close to the shop. It feels like a small neighborhood shop. We make sure the towels are washed every day and the floor is swept after every person leaves. It is not a big corporate operation. Just a small salon run by people who live right here in the area. We like the location because it is easy to walk to for most of our regulars. The trees around the campus make it a nice place to be. We just keep doing our work.
