Our shop is located at number 4 in the Ranchhod Nagar Society, which is a nice residential pocket of Rajkot. Being near Jivan Bank makes it easy for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. It is a bit different from the main commercial roads because you get more of a neighborhood feeling here. You see the same families walking past every day and kids playing nearby. The shop itself is a modest space where we have set things up to be useful and simple. We have the basic chairs and a shelf for the towels and spray bottles. The morning sun hits the front of the building, so we usually have the door open to let the breeze in while we work. It is the kind of place where someone might walk in just to ask about the time or to see if the bank is still open. We don't go in for anything polished or corporate; it’s just a local spot for a haircut. There is usually a bit of a wait on the weekends when the neighborhood men have their day off, so the shop gets a bit crowded and loud with conversation. We’ve been part of Ranchhodnagar for a while, and the walls are decorated with just a few old calendars and a mirror that has seen better days.
