We operate Castech Foundries Pvt. Ltd. over at 1708/1709 in GIDC Phase-II, Dolatpara. Being in a GIDC area means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops. It’s a loud, busy environment with a lot of heavy machinery noise. Our foundry is where the real work happens. It’s hot and sweaty, especially when the furnaces are going. We do casting work, which is a lot of pouring molten metal into molds and waiting for it to cool. It’s a process that takes a lot of patience and care. The office is a separate little building near the gate, but the noise still finds its way in. We’re usually covered in a bit of soot by the time the day is done. We don't have any fancy carpets or air conditioning that works perfectly. It’s a rugged place for rugged work. We talk to engineers and buyers who need specific parts cast for their machines. Every job is a bit different, which keeps things interesting. Sometimes a mold breaks or the metal isn't just right, and we have to start over. That’s just the nature of the foundry business. We’ve been in Dolatpara for years and have a good crew of workers who know their stuff. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or shiny brochures. We just make the parts people need from metal.
