Shiv Minerals Industries

We've been operating Shiv Minerals Industries for a good while now right here on Kalawad Road. If you know the area near Atmiya College, you've probably passed us plenty of times. We are situated just across from the KV Hall. It's a busy part of town and we like being in the middle of it. The work we do involves minerals, obviously, and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. Most days you will find the gates open and the trucks moving in and out. It isn't a fancy setup but it works for what we need to get done. My family started this and we just keep it going one day at a time. We don't spend much time on computers or making big speeches about what we do. We just focus on the loads coming in and the orders going out. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that is just part of the mineral business. Neighbors know us as the quiet types who just stick to our tasks. If you are walking down Kalawad Road or headed toward the college, that’s where our spot is. We don’t have a big front office with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a practical workspace where things happen. We’ve seen the road change a lot over the years, but we stay right here in the same spot, handling the materials and making sure the day's work is finished before we head home.
