Bombay Style The Family Salon

Bombay Style The Family Salon is tucked away in Purnima Society, specifically at 23 B-1. We are near Mayani Chowk on the Backbon Shoping Center Road in Rajnagar. It’s a nice enough area and quite residential. We called it a family salon because we see everyone from kids to grandparents. The shop is in a building called Dev. We aren’t like those expensive places in the malls. We just provide a place for the neighborhood to get their hair cut and maybe a few other things. It’s usually pretty quiet in the mornings, which is nice. Then after school and work, the place fills up with families. My staff and I have been working together for a bit, so we have a good rhythm. We talk about the local news or what’s happening in Rajkot while we work. The mirrors are large and we have comfortable enough chairs for people to sit in. There’s no fancy music, just what’s on the radio sometimes. We like it that way. Being near the shopping center means people often stop by after doing their groceries. We try to keep things honest and simple. You won't find any complicated menus here. We just do what's asked. It’s a small local business and we’re happy with that. We have been in Rajnagar for years now and the regulars are like friends. It’s just how we run things around here every day.
