Big B Hair Art

Our shop, Big B Hair Art, is located at Burhani Hall Phase 1, right on Kotharia Main Road. It’s a busy part of the city, and being on the main road means we see a lot of activity all day long. The shop itself is a straightforward place. We’ve got the standard barber chairs and a few benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. We don’t go in for fancy interior design. The walls have some mirrors and maybe a calendar or two, but that’s about it. Most of the people who come in are from the surrounding neighborhood. They come for a haircut because it’s convenient and they know we’ve been here for a while. We treat everyone the same, whether they’ve been coming for ten years or it’s their first time walking through the door. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, so there is always someone with a broom trying to keep up with the mess. It’s a bit of a rhythm we have. We open up, get the chairs ready, and then wait for the first customer of the morning. On Kotharia Main Road, there’s never a dull moment with all the bikes and other shops nearby. We just stay focused on the hair and the person in front of us. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we enjoy the daily interactions with the locals. We stay until the last person is finished and then close up.
