Bholenath Hair Saloon

Bholenath Hair Saloon is found in the Raj Complex, right near Prabha Estate. Our shop is on Laxmiwadi Main Road in Rajkot, zip code 360002. We are sitting directly opposite Udhyognagar, which is a big industrial area, so we see a lot of people coming and going from their shifts all day long. It gets pretty dusty out here on the main road with all the trucks and rickshaws passing by, but we try to keep the shop tidy inside. The chairs are old but comfortable enough, and the mirrors have a few scratches here and there from years of use. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to cover the noise of the traffic from Laxmiwadi. The morning sun hits the front of Raj Complex quite hard, so it can get a bit warm before we get the fans going. We have been in this spot for a while, and we know many of the faces that pass by our window every morning. There’s a tea stall not too far away, and the smell of ginger tea often drifts over here when the wind is right. It’s a simple life working in this part of Rajkot. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations or anything like that. Just the basic stuff you need to get the job done and a place for people to sit for a bit while they wait. It feels like home to us after all these years.
