You can find Bharatkumar & Co. over at the Grain Market in Danapith. We are situated quite close to J.B Global, which is a big landmark around here. Working in a grain market means your day starts very early, often before the sun is even up. There are always carts and trucks moving around, and the sound of people shouting prices is something we hear all day long. We deal with various goods, but mostly it’s about the daily trade in the market. Our office is just a small room with some benches and a lot of ledgers. It gets quite messy with all the paperwork and the samples lying around, but we know where everything is. The floor is made of old stone and it’s seen a lot of boots over the years. We don't bother with fancy furniture because it would just get dirty from the market dust anyway. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are slow and watch the world go by. It’s a tough life in the market sometimes, especially when it rains and everything gets muddy, but we’ve been here long enough that we don't think much of it. We just focus on the loads coming in and the orders going out to our regulars. It is a lot of physical work, lifting bags and moving things, but it keeps us busy and the day goes by fast.
