Beauty Centre

You have to go up to the third floor of Nakshtra 5 to find Beauty Centre. We are at shop number 304 on Raiya Road. It is a newer building in the 360007 area of Rajkot. Being on the third floor means it is a bit quieter than the shops right on the street level. We have a good amount of space inside. I spent a lot of time picking out the chairs and making sure the mirrors were placed where the light hits them right. The windows look out over Raiya Road, and you can see the city stretching out from up here. We do a mix of things, mostly hair and skin stuff for the ladies in the neighborhood. I usually start the day by checking the supplies and making sure everything is in its place. It’s just a regular business, nothing too special to look at, but we take care of the people who come in. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so customers talk about that when they finally get inside. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. It is mostly quiet work, punctuated by the sound of the hair dryer or the phone ringing. We just try to keep things running smoothly every day without making a big fuss about it. We have been here for a couple of years now.
