Aum Glass

We’ve been here at 150 Feet Ring Road for a while now. If you know the Mavdi Chokadi area, you probably know the Radhika Restaurant. We are just right near it. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the traffic on the ring road, but it makes it easy for people to find us when they need something done with glass. We mostly handle the daily stuff that comes in, like replacing a broken window or cutting a piece of glass for a table top. It's not a fancy setup here. Most of the day is spent handling sheets and making sure the edges are smooth so nobody gets cut. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. People stop by on their way home or while they are out getting food nearby. We just do the work and try to get it right the first time. It’s a small team, just a few of us who know the trade well. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workspace where the actual cutting and polishing happens. If you walk past, you’ll likely hear the sound of the cutters or see us loading things onto a truck. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets hot in the afternoon, but we’ve got used to the routine. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we started, with more shops opening up, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day.
