Atmiya Child Hospital

Atmiya Child Hospital is in the Yashraj Complex on University Rd. We’re right near the Panchayat Nagar Veg Market Panchayat Nagar, so it’s a very lively and noisy part of town. You can hear the vendors shouting and see the crowds from our windows all day long. Since we deal with children, it’s already quite a loud place inside too. There’s usually a child crying or someone running around the waiting area. It’s a bit messy sometimes with toys scattered about on the floor, but that’s just how it goes in a place for kids. We aren't a big corporate chain with a fancy office. We’re just a local clinic in the complex. The rooms are basic, and we try to make them a bit friendly for the little ones with some posters and colors. It gets really busy in the mornings when the market is full of shoppers. Parking can be a real struggle because of the veg market, so we often tell parents to give themselves extra time. We don't have a polished front desk or fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes or scrubs and get to the work. Most of the families who come here live in Panchayat Nagar or near the university. We’ve seen many of these kids grow up over the years and now they bring their own children back to us. It’s a lot of work, and it can be tiring.
