Asha Hair Art

Asha Hair Art has been part of this neighborhood for some time now. We sit inside the Shivshakti Complex, which is a busy place right on University Main Road. If you know Rajkot, you know this part of University Road gets quite a lot of traffic throughout the day. We are located near the FSL building, which is a landmark most people in the 360005 area are familiar with. Inside the shop, it’s pretty simple. We have the usual chairs and mirrors that have seen many faces over the months. Sometimes the dust from the main road drifts in when the door stays open too long, but that’s just how it is living in this part of town. The light comes in through the front windows in the afternoon, making the whole place feel warm. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready, wiping down the counters and making sure the towels are folded. It isn't a fancy place with bright flashing lights, just a regular shop where we do our work day after day. You can hear the bikes and cars zooming past outside, and occasionally someone pops in just to ask for directions or to say hello. It feels like a small community here despite the main road being so loud. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the University area, the students walking by, and the local regulars who stop in when they have a free moment. It's a good place to spend the day.
