If you know Sardarnagar Main Road, you’ve probably passed by our shop at number 20. We are right across from Kamani Telecom, which makes it easy for folks to find us when they are out running errands in Rajkot. The shop has been here in the 360001 area for a while now. It’s nothing too special to look at from the outside, but inside we have everything set up for a decent haircut. We get a lot of young guys coming in wanting whatever is popular at the moment, and we also have the regulars who have been getting the same cut for twenty years. It’s a mix. Sometimes the radio is playing too loud, or we are busy talking about the weather with someone in the chair. We don't do anything flashy. It is just about giving people a place to sit down and get their hair sorted out. The lighting is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we are doing. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long out on the sidewalk. Sardarnagar gets pretty busy during the day, so there is always something to watch through the front window. We like being part of this street. It feels like home to us, and we hope people feel okay just stopping in when they need a trim. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood.
