J K Cement Works,Nimbaher(Rajasthan)

Our office is situated at 12, Swastik Nagar in Chittaurgarh, which is separate from the main plant in Nimbahera but still very connected to it. Swastik Nagar is a decent area and our office is just a regular building among others. J K Cement Works has been a big part of this region for a long time, and this office is where we handle a lot of the local coordination. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have wooden desks that have seen better days and cupboards full of records. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more interested in getting the work done than how the place looks. Chittaurgarh can be quite sleepy in the afternoons, especially when it’s hot, so we usually take a longer break then. We have a small cooler for water which is the most popular spot in the office during the summer months. Most of us have lived in Rajasthan our whole lives, so we’re used to the pace here. People stop by to drop off documents or ask about their orders. We don't use a lot of technical jargon; we just speak plainly with everyone. It’s a simple, honest workplace where we just try to keep up with the demands of the cement business without making things complicated for ourselves or the people who come by to visit us.
