Out here in Gopalpoor village, we have our little office at 2-87. It's part of Elkaturthy Mandal. We are a group of farmers who decided to team up. Farming can be lonely work if you do it all by yourself. So, we formed this company. It helps us deal with the day-to-day stuff. We spend a lot of time talking about the soil and which seeds are doing okay. The weather is always a topic of conversation. Sometimes it rains too much, sometimes not enough. We've lived here a long time and know these fields inside out. We aren't some big corporation from the city. We are just the people you see on the tractors or walking the rows every morning. Our families have been in this village for generations. We handle the paperwork ourselves, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. But it's worth it to have a say in how things are done. If you come looking for us, we're probably out back or down the road at one of the farms. We don't keep strict office hours because the crops don't wait for anyone. We just work hard and hope for a decent harvest at the end of the year. That's really all there is to it. We just wanted a way to support each other here in Gopalpoor. It's tough work but we enjoy being outside. We know each neighbor by their face and their tractor. We call ourselves Saagumithra Farmersproducer Companylimited and we are just getting by.
