You can find us at Village Chhtauna in Mahadevpur Hayat Nagar, which is part of Jaisinghpur. Kisan Bandhu Agro Producer Company Limited is run from Vipin Kumar’s place. It’s a real rural spot, far away from the big city noise. We like the peace out here, even though the work is hard. We are just a group of friends and neighbors who decided to pool our resources. There is no corporate office with a coffee machine here. We usually just sit outside or in the main room at Vipin’s. We talk about the wheat, the rice, and whatever else is growing in the fields. The roads around Jaisinghpur can be a bit rough after it rains, but we manage to get things moved. We don't use any marketing tricks. We just tell it like it is. If the crop is thin, we say so. We spend a lot of time worrying about the weather, just like any other farmer. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure our village does okay. If you visit, you’ll probably find us wearing our work clothes and covered in a bit of dust. That is just how it is when you work the land. We are just plain people doing plain work, and we are fine with that. It is all about the community.
