Ssid Makers

Ssid Makers is at 35-7-18 in CVK Nagar. It’s a bit of a specific address, but once you get into CVK Nagar, it’s not too hard to track us down. We are one of those small local workshops where we are actually making things by hand. Our space is filled with materials and bits of metal and plastic that we use for the various makers' projects we take on. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We usually wear old clothes that we don’t mind getting dirty. The neighborhood is mostly quiet compared to the main city roads, which gives us some peace to focus on what we are building. We have a few workbenches that have definitely seen better days, but they are sturdy enough for the work. Most of the time, the radio is playing softly in the background while we measure and cut things. We don't really have a big marketing plan or anything; people usually just hear about us through word of mouth in the local area. When someone comes in with an idea, we just talk it through and see how we can make it work with the materials we have on hand. It’s a very practical way of doing things. We stay open until the sun goes down, and then we lock up the shutters and head home. That is how we have always done it.
