Shriram Fert. & Chemicals is located on Janda Panja Road in Mangalavaripeta. The address is 5-87-511. Even though Kota is in our name, this is where we do our daily work. It’s a busy street with a lot of people moving back and forth all day. We deal with fertilizers and chemicals, so our space is mostly storage and a small office area where we handle the sales. It smells a bit like earth and minerals inside, which we’ve grown to like. We don't have any polished floors or air-conditioned waiting rooms. It's a working shop. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and local dealers who come by. They don't want a corporate speech; they just want to know what works for their crops. We try to give them straight answers based on what we know. The office is often cluttered with sample bags and ledgers. We don't have a computer for everything; we still like writing things down by hand. It feels more real that way. The traffic on Janda Panja Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our big loads out early in the morning. We’ve been part of the Mangalavaripeta community for quite some time. We aren't trying to expand into a giant empire. We just want to keep the business steady and help the people who rely on us. Most of us have been working together for over a decade. We’re like a small family. We share our lunches and argue about the local news. It’s a good way to spend the day.
