The Golden Tulip,Raipur

VIP Road is where most of the action is in Raipur. Our hotel, The Golden Tulip, sits right along that stretch. If you’re coming from the airport, it’s a quick drive. We’ve got people coming in at all hours, checking in and checking out. The staff here is mostly local folks who know the 492006 zip code like the back of their hand. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are ready and the lobby doesn't get too cluttered. It’s a hotel, so there’s always something happening, whether it’s a small wedding party or someone just staying over for a business meeting. We don't try to be something we're not. It’s just a place to stay on a busy road. The Chhattisgarh sun can be quite something, so the air conditioning is usually running full blast in the main areas. We handle the bookings and the guest requests as they come. Sometimes the kitchen gets really backed up during breakfast, but we manage. It’s just the usual hospitality life on VIP Road. We’ve been here for a good bit now, and we see a lot of the same faces coming back. It feels like a small community sometimes, even if people are only staying for a night or two. We just focus on keeping the place running and making sure things work the way they should for every guest.
