Hotel Kanishka

Hotel Kanishka is located right at Gurunananak Chowk on Station Road. Being near the railway station means it is almost always busy around here. There is a lot of noise from the traffic and the people coming and going from the trains. We have been here for years, serving travelers who just arrived in town and need a place to sit or stay. The building is right on the main road, so you cannot miss it. We have a restaurant area and rooms upstairs. The furniture is functional and made to last. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It is a place meant for convenience. We open very early in the morning because that is when the first trains start arriving and people are looking for tea and breakfast. The kitchen stays busy all day. We don't have a corporate office or a big management team. It is just us and a few workers keeping the place running. The entrance is usually a bit crowded but you can just walk right in. Most people are in a hurry anyway. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a lot of people arrive at once, but we manage. We don't use a lot of fancy language to talk about our food or rooms. It is just a standard station-side hotel. We try to keep the floors swept and the water running. It is a busy life here on Station Road, and we are just a small part of it.
