Our printing shop is located in Danganiya. When you walk inside, the first thing that hits you is the strong smell of ink and the sound of the machines running. We’ve got a couple of older presses and a newer digital printer that we use for different types of jobs. The walls are lined with samples of wedding cards, posters, and flyers we’ve printed for people in the neighborhood over the years. It’s a bit of a cluttered space because there are always stacks of paper and boxes of envelopes sitting around. I usually have ink stains on my fingers by the end of the day. My nephew helps out with the design work on the computer, while I mostly handle the physical printing and the machines. Sometimes a machine breaks down right in the middle of a big job, and we have to spend hours getting it back in order. It’s part of the trade, I suppose. We don't have a fancy front office, just a counter where people bring their ideas. We've been here in Danganiya for quite some time, and most of our customers are locals who need something made for a family event or a small business. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished stack of cards. We just keep our heads down and try to get the work out on time. It’s a busy, messy, and honest way to spend the day.
