Roshanraj Beauty Saloon

We are situated at Dindayal Chowk in Kurud, Dhamtari. Our shop, Roshanraj Beauty Saloon, is right on Thana Road. Being near the police station and the main chowk means we see everything that goes on in town. It’s a lively spot. We do hair and beauty work for the women here in Kurud. The shop has a few mirrors and a couple of comfortable chairs for when we are doing threads or facials. It’s not a big city parlor, but we have everything we need to do a good job. We spend our days talking about local weddings and what’s happening at the market. In a place like Dhamtari, news travels fast. We’ve been here long enough that we know almost every family in the area. The Thana Road gets quite dusty in the dry season, so we are always wiping down the counters and cleaning the glass. We have some colorful posters on the walls to make the place look a bit more cheerful. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how things are here. We don't have any fancy brochures. People know us by our name and our location at the chowk. We just enjoy the work and the company of the ladies who come in to get ready for their special events or just for a regular grooming. It's a busy, friendly little shop.
