Dhamtari Hair Cutting Saloon is right in the middle of the Main Market on Bastar Road. If you are in the Dhamtari Ho area, you can’t really miss the market bustle. Our shop is a traditional one, the kind where people have been coming for years to get a simple haircut or a shave. We don't have any of those modern spa features. It’s just the basics here: a chair, a mirror, and a pair of scissors. The street outside is always full of noise from the market and the traffic going towards Bastar. Inside, we try to keep things steady. We start our day early when the market opens and we stay until the evening lights come on. The walls are plain and the floor usually has hair on it because we are constantly working. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just cutting hair. We’ve seen many people grow up in this town, coming here as boys and now coming as men. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. We use a bit of water, some soap, and a steady hand. It’s not about being the best, it’s just about being there for the people who need a trim. Most of our customers are folks we’ve known for a long time. It’s just a regular part of life here in Dhamtari.
