Our Raipur office is situated in Gudhiyari, specifically at Qr.No.11/602 in the Naya Talab area. It’s part of the D.D. Construction office setup that Patel Engineering Ltd uses. Being near the pond means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is a relief. The office is more like a hub for our site supervisors. We have trucks coming and going quite often with materials. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when the work assignments are handed out. The furniture is mismatched and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it serves its purpose. We have a small stove in the corner to boil water for tea. Raipur can be quite dusty with all the development happening, so there is always a layer of it on the windowsills no matter how much we clean. We handle a lot of the local infrastructure tasks from this little quarter. It’s not a place for meetings with people in suits; it’s more for people in boots and dusty jeans. We’ve had some good years here and the local neighbors are used to our presence. We don't really have a website or fancy brochures. People just come to the Naya Talab area and ask where the Patel Engineering guys are. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business without any of the extra stuff people don't really need.
