New Era Exports

Down here on the Main Road in Samta Colony, things stay pretty busy at house 357. New Era Exports isn’t some massive warehouse with hundreds of people, it’s more of a tight operation where we handle a lot of the shipping ourselves. You’ll usually see a lot of boxes stacked up near the entrance waiting for the pickup trucks to arrive. The traffic outside can get pretty loud during the day, especially since we’re right on the main stretch, but you get used to it after a few months. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking lists to make sure everything is going where it needs to go. There’s always some paperwork to finish or a container to track down, which keeps us on our toes. It gets a bit dusty with all the packing material, and the summer heat in the office can be a lot, but we keep the fans going and stay on top of the orders. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and most of the neighbors know when we’re having a big shipment day because of all the activity. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of logistics and making sure the items are wrapped up tight so they don’t break. We just try to stay organized and keep the flow moving through the door without too much fuss. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the late deliveries and the constant changes in shipping schedules, but we just take it one day at a time.
