We are over in the Sarora Urla Industrial Area at Plot B in Sector C. If you know Raipur, you know this is where the heavy engineering work happens. Our workshop is a practical space where we fix things and make parts that people need. The floor is usually covered in tools and there is almost always the sound of a drill or a welder in the background. We do not have any air conditioning, so it gets quite warm when we are busy, but that is just part of the job. Most of us learned our trade by actually doing it, not from a book. We take on all kinds of engineering projects, some that are finished in an hour and others that take a few days of hard work. We do not use fancy software for everything; we rely more on our experience with the metal and the machines. There is plenty of heavy lifting and we often end up with grease on our hands by ten in the morning. We try to stay organized, but a busy shop like ours always has things moving around. We just make sure that whatever we finish is solid and works the way it is supposed to. It is straightforward work that keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late to finish a repair for a client who is in a hurry.
