If you walk down Old Cenimal Hall Road toward Sunari Para Chowk, you will find us at Isar Engineers Private Limited. We are right near the Jagannath Temple, so we get to hear the prayers every morning and evening. The old cinema hall that the road is named after isn't what it used to be, but the name stuck. Our office is full of blueprints, old calculators, and stacks of files. We do a lot of planning and technical work for various projects around the city. It’s not always glamorous. Sometimes we are stuck in the office for twelve hours straight trying to finish a drawing or a report. The chowk outside is always crowded with people buying snacks or waiting for rickshaws. We have a small crew of engineers and some support staff. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, so we know all the shopkeepers nearby. The building we are in has seen better days, the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a solid place to work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just solve problems with machines and structures. When a project gets finished, we usually go out for some tea at the corner stall. It’s a local business through and through, and we take pride in being part of the community here near the temple. We just keep building things and fixing what is broken.
