Hindustan Petroleum Corp Limited is situated right at Jai Stambh Chowk on J N Road. This is in Kamptee, which is in the Nagpur district. Jai Stambh Chowk is a landmark on its own, so we are pretty easy to spot. It’s a busy intersection with lots of traffic and people passing through at all hours. We handle the fuel side of things, making sure trucks and cars stay moving. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit and tie. Most of us are in work clothes, dealing with the heat and the smell of petrol. Nagpur gets incredibly hot in the summer, and being out near the road means we really feel it. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just focus on the tankers coming in and the customers getting what they need. There’s a lot of noise from the horns and the engines outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. The team here is mostly local folks from Kamptee or nearby. We know the regular drivers who stop by every day. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We keep the pumps running and the logs updated. It’s just regular work that keeps the town and the transport moving along the J N Road. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how the oil business goes down here.
