Himalaya Cold Storage

Himalaya Cold Storage is located right across from the Maruti Business Park on G E Road in Raipur. If you know the 492001 area, you know how hot it gets during the summer months. That is why our facility is so important for the local businesses around here. We spend our days monitoring the temperatures and making sure the cooling units are running like they should. It’s a lot of manual work, moving crates and checking the inventory. The staff here mostly wears heavy jackets even when it is forty degrees outside. It feels a bit strange to walk out of the cold into the Raipur sun. We aren't some massive corporation with a bunch of rules. We are just a local operation on G E Road. The traffic outside is always moving fast, and we see trucks pulling in and out at all hours. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. Most people find us because they see our building while driving to the business park. The office inside is small and usually smells like coffee. We’ve been here for years, and the building has seen better days, but it keeps everything cold and that is what matters. We don't talk about missions or visions. We just make sure the power stays on and the goods don't spoil. It’s simple work but it keeps us very busy every single day of the week.
