Our shop is number 445 over at Progressive Point in Lalpur. It’s a busy building with a lot of different businesses going on. We have been running Carrer Dreams Consultancy from this little spot for some time. It is a simple shop setup. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit while we talk about their career plans. Lalpur is a good location because it's easy for people to get to from different parts of the city. Progressive Point usually has a lot of people coming and going. We don't have a big fancy entrance. It’s just a glass door with our name on it. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have our files, a computer, and some notebooks. We spend a lot of time talking to people about what they want to do with their lives. It’s a lot of listening and looking at options. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We are just a consultancy helping people out. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when more than two people visit at once. But we like it that way. It’s cozy and keeps things simple. We don't use any corporate jargon or complicated processes. We just have a chat and see how we can help. The work is steady and we enjoy being part of the Lalpur business community. It’s a practical office for a practical job. We just keep showing up and doing it.
