Tata Kheti Bari Center

We are located in Raekot at the Gayatri Shankul, and this is where we spend our days dealing with everything related to farming. Kheti bari is the lifeblood of this area, so we see a lot of farmers coming in from the surrounding fields. Our shop is filled with bags of seeds, different tools, and various things that people need for their crops. It often smells like earth and fertilizer in here, which is something you just get used to after a few days. We don't have a big fancy office, just a simple space where we can sit and talk with the people who come in. Sometimes we spend more time talking about the weather or the crop prices than we do actually selling things. That is just how it is in a small place like Raekot. The floors are usually a bit dirty from all the boots coming in and out, but we don't mind much. We try to keep what people need in stock, but sometimes things run out and we have to wait for the next shipment to arrive. It’s a steady kind of life, working according to the seasons. When it’s time to plant, we are very busy, and when things are growing, it gets a bit quieter. We are just here to provide what the local farming community needs to keep going. It is a simple place for simple needs.
