Jain Fertilizers

You can find Jain Fertilizers over on Raekot Mosque Road. It is a place where we keep all the supplies for the local farms and gardens. The shop has that specific smell of earth and sacks which we have grown to quite like over the years. We spend our mornings moving heavy bags around and making sure we have enough stock for whoever comes in. Mosque Road is usually pretty quiet in the early hours but gets busier as the day goes on. We have a lot of regular people who come by to talk about their crops and what they need for the next season. It isn't a very large space so we have to stack things high up against the walls. We have a small desk near the back where we keep the accounts and handle the cash. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty but that is just how it is when you work with these kinds of materials. We don't use any fancy systems, just our notebooks and a bit of common sense. When the sun starts to go down we start tidying up the front and pulling the shutter halfway. It’s a steady kind of life here in Raekot and we are glad to be part of the community. People know they can just walk in and we will be there near the bags of fertilizer waiting to help out.
