This branch of H & R Johnson (I) Ltd. is located out in Gadab, which is in the Tal-Pen area. It’s a bit away from the main city centers, so it has a different feel than the corporate offices. Most of us who work here are from the nearby villages or towns. The facility is large because we handle a lot of materials and production stuff here. It’s a quiet area until you get inside the gates, then it’s all about the daily routine of the plant. We have a lot of trucks coming in and going out with tiles and other supplies. The weather out here can be quite humid, especially during the monsoon, which makes the ground a bit muddy around the loading bays. We don't have many visitors out this way, mostly just the regular delivery drivers and the staff. We keep the office part of things pretty simple. There's a lot of paperwork to keep track of because of the scale of the operation, but we try to stay on top of it. It’s a steady place to work. We have our set shifts and everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing. It’s not a place for flashy presentations. We just focus on making sure the products are handled right and that the logistics are moving as they should. It's just a regular workday for us in Gadab, and we like the pace.
