Ala Chemicals

Ala Chemicals is located in the village of Beed Budruk, which is under the Karjat taluka in Raigad district. It’s a bit out of the way if you are coming from the big cities, but we like it that way. The surroundings are mostly green, especially during the rains when everything in Karjat turns very bright. Our place is right at the post, so it’s easy to find if you ask any of the locals. We’ve been operating here for a long time. It’s a simple building where we handle our chemical work. It’s not a high-tech lab with glass walls. It’s more of a practical space with concrete floors and sturdy tables. We have a small team of local guys who help out with the daily chores. The pace of life here is slower than in Mumbai or Pune. We follow the rhythm of the village. Usually, we start early in the morning when it’s still cool. There’s a lot of manual handling of containers and checking the stock. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours, but we just work around it. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone like that. Word just gets around the district about what we do. We focus on getting the chemicals ready and making sure the containers are sealed properly before they go out on the trucks.
