Little Millennium

Little Millennium is located at 59/2400 on Mini Stadium Road in Raigarh. It is a busy little corner of the city, especially when there is something happening at the stadium nearby. Our school is mostly for the younger kids, so the whole place is filled with small chairs and low tables. The walls are covered in colorful drawings and some half-peeling posters from a few years back. Chhattisgarh gets incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of our time making sure the fans are working and the kids stay indoors during the peak sun hours. The building is right in a residential area, so we know all the neighbors who walk their dogs past our gate every morning. There is a small yard where the kids play, but it is mostly concrete with a bit of sand in the corner. We have a few cupboards that are overflowing with old toys and art supplies that we really should organize one of these days. The staff room is tiny, just enough space for a few chairs and our lunch boxes. We drink a lot of water and talk about our own families during the quiet moments between the lessons. It is a loud, messy, and very real place to work. We spend our days watching the gate and counting down the hours until the noon pickup starts. It feels like a small community right here on Mini Stadium Road.
