Mini Miracles Play School

Mini Miracles Play School is right there at Handi Chowk in Raigarh. It’s a pretty well-known spot near Goushala Road, so most people in the Ho area know where we are. The school is a simple setup meant for the younger kids in the neighborhood. We don’t have a massive field or anything like that, but we make use of the space we have. Inside, it’s mostly just classrooms filled with drawings and small chairs. The humidity in Chhattisgarh can be a lot sometimes, so we try to keep the rooms as comfortable as possible for the children. Our day is basically a cycle of songs, play, and maybe a little bit of learning here and there. The staff are all local women who have a lot of patience, which you definitely need when you have a room full of four-year-olds. It’s not a fancy institution by any means. It’s more like a community spot where the kids come to get used to being away from home for a few hours. We see the same faces every day and we’ve gotten to know the families quite well. Sometimes things get a little disorganized, especially when it's raining and everyone is stuck inside, but we find ways to keep the kids busy. It’s just a plain, honest play school doing what it can for the families around Raigarh. Nothing more, nothing less.
