Our place is at Gat No.-117, right by the Himalaya Heights in the Block-E area of Boirdadar. It’s a growing spot with all the new buildings going up around us. We see the apartments every day from where we work. We’ve been at this site for a bit now. Dealing with bricks means you’re always dealing with the ground. It’s heavy work and it takes a lot of patience to get it right. We don't have any flashy signs or a big reception area. It’s just the yard and the equipment we use every day. Sometimes the traffic in Boirdadar gets a bit much, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. We usually start before the sun is fully up to get a head start. It’s a lot of lifting and stacking. You get used to the weight of it after a few weeks. The guys here have been working together for a while, so we have a rhythm. We don't spend much time on the computer or anything like that. Mostly we are outside or in the small shed where we keep the records. It’s a simple operation. We see the change in the neighborhood as more people move into the heights nearby. It’s just a local business trying to stay busy and keep the stacks moving out to where they need to go. We keep the yard open and stay working until the light fades.
